All information of persons arrested and booked into the Castro County Jail are open records:

 

03/02- Marcus Ray Nieto, 21, of Dimmitt was arrested by the Dimmitt Police on a Castro County warrant for Assault causes Bodily Injury Family Violence.

 

03/05- Michael Reyes, 37, of Dimmitt was arrested by the Dimmitt Police on a Castro County warrant for Theft under $1,500 with two prior convictions.

 

03/05- Priscilla Rodriguez, 29, of Dimmitt was arrested by the Dimmitt Police on a Castro County warrant for Possession of Controlled Substance PG 1 under 1 gram-Drug Free Zone.

  • At 2:30 p.m., CR 612 & CR 522, vandalism reported.

  • At 5:44 p.m., 800 blk Ave A, Hart, possible domestic disturbance reported;
  • At 7:20 p.m., CR 518 & CR 601, stranded motorist reported.

 

03/04

  • At 3:22 p.m., 600 blk U.S. 385, assist stranded motorist;
  • At 4:44 p.m., 2300 blk Texas 86, assist Texas Highway Patrol with traffic accident;
  • At 5:05 p.m., 800 blk Ave D, Hart, domestic disturbance reported.

  • At 5:50 a.m., 1300 blk U.S. 385, truck jackknifed and blocking roadway.

  • At 9:35 a.m., 100 blk St. Joseph Street, Nazareth, possible theft reported;
  • At 3:01 p.m., 1300 blk FM 168, smoke reported in home;
  • At 4:42 p.m., 2900 blk FM 168, livestock reported on roadway;
  • At 6:50 p.m., FM 2567 & CR 612, animal call;
  • At 8:07 p.m., 300 blk Ave E, Hart, assist Hart Rescue & Castro County EMS with medical call.

  • At 11:08 a.m., 400 blk CR 605, burglary reported;
  • At 12:09 p.m., FM 145 & FM 303, assist Castro County EMS & Texas Highway Patrol with traffic accident;
  • At 3:03 p.m., 800 blk Ave B, Hart, residential alarm reported.

 

03/08

  • At 1:53 a.m., 900 blk CR 527, assist Nazareth Fire Department & Castro County EMS with medical call;
  • At 12:00 p.m., 700 blk 3rd Street, Hart, assist Hart Rescue & Castro County EMS with medical call;
  • At 3:14 p.m., 1900 blk Texas 194, debris reported on roadway;
  • At 5:55 p.m., 200 blk Broadway, Hart, ATV’s being driven in the area.

Judgments for March 4, 2015:

 

John David Ramirez, 35, of Dimmitt pled true to violations of his probation on the original charge of Theft of Property over $50-under $500. His probation was revoked and he was ordered to serve 60 days in jail plus fines and court costs.
