09/08– Juan Ortiz Jr., 30, of Hereford was arrested by the Sheriff’s Office for
Assault causes Bodily Injury, Injury to a Child and Interfere with Emergency
09/08– Shelby Lynn Reed, 20, of Dimmitt was arrested by the Dimmitt Police for
Assault causes Bodily Injury Family Violence.
09/08– Jessica Leighan Drennon, 33, of Tulia was arrested by the Dimmitt Police
for Hindering Apprehension, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and
Manufacture/Deliver Controlled Substance PG 1 over 4 grams-under 200 grams.
09/08– Sonya Gonzales, 28, of Dimmitt was arrested by the Dimmitt Police on a
Deaf Smith County warrant for Theft over $50-under $500.
09/08– Eduardo Grado, 20, of Dimmitt was arrested by the Dimmitt Police on a
Castro County warrant for Theft over $50-under $500.
09/09– Edward Ewing, 38, of Plainview was transported back from the Formby
Unit in Plainview by the Sheriff’s Office on a 64th District Court Bench Warrant.
09/11– Rocky Navarro, 25, of Dimmitt was arrested by the Dimmitt Police on a
Texas Department of Criminal Justice Parole Warrant.
09/11– Leon Jose Rodriguez, 41, of Dimmitt was arrested by the Sheriff’s Office
on a Castro County warrant for Theft over $50-under $500. On 09/14 he was
charged with another warrant for Theft over $50-under $500.
09/11– Angelica Rose Lara, 29, of Dimmitt was arrested by the Dimmitt Police for
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
09/11– Luis Felipe Martinez, 37, of Dimmitt was arrested by the Dimmitt Police for
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
09/12– Anthony Bryan Fernandez, 23, of Amarillo was arrested by the Sheriff’s
Office for Public Intoxication.
09/13– Dustin Lee Harper, 35, of Sudan was arrested by the Dimmitt Police for
Driving While Intoxicated.
09/13– Mickey Mireles, 42, of Hereford was arrested by the Sheriff’s Office for
Possession of Controlled Substance Not in Penalty Group and Possession of

At 4:01 p.m., 100 blk N. Broadway, Dimmitt, theft reported;
At 6:11 p.m., NE 8th & CR 514, livestock reported running at large.
At 1:30 a.m., 100 E. Bedford-Sheriff’s Office, Dimmitt, assist person
At 11:29 a.m., 500 blk Youts, Dimmitt, burglary reported;
At 4:43 p.m., 100 E. Bedford-Sheriff’s Office, Dimmitt, complaint walked in
to report a theft;
At 10:30 p.m., Texas 194 & FM 168, Hart, theft reported.
At 9:56 a.m., 500 blk Main, Summerfield, suspicious person walking
around the area.
At 9:23 a.m., FM 1055 & CR 620, assist the Texas Highway Patrol with
truck rollover;
At 11:00 a.m., 1300 blk FM 2567, livestock running at large;
At 1:07 p.m., U.S. 385 & FM 1524, small grass fire reported;
At 9:15 p.m., Texas 86 & FM 1055, reckless driver reported;

At 11:05 a.m., 100 E. Bedford-Sheriff’s Office, Dimmitt, report of found
At 2:55 p.m., U.S. 385 & CR 44 in Lamb County, assist with traffic
accident south of Castro County line;
At 9:26 p.m., 700 blk U.S. 385, reckless driver reported
At 11:00 p.m., 1400 blk CR 514, intoxicated person reported-arrest made
for Public Intoxication.
At 9:36 a.m., 2700 blk Texas 86, damage to property reported;
At 8:15 p.m., 1500 blk U.S. 385, reckless driver reported, arrest made for
possession of synthetic marijuana.
At 1:34 p.m., 2000 blk Texas 194, reports of a grass fire;
At 3:31 p.m., 900 blk Texas 86, reports of a possible assault in progress;
At 4:35 p.m., 1800 blk FM 168, grass fire reported;
At 6:50 p.m., 700 blk W. Grant, Dimmitt, assist Dimmitt Police with
domestic situation;
At 8:39 p.m., 2600 CR 521, animal call.

Judgments for September 9, 2015:
• Eduardo Grado, 20, of Dimmitt pled guilty to the original charge of Theft over
$50-under $500. He was sentenced to 60 days in jail probated for one (1) year,
$500 fine, $292 court costs, $50 Crime Line Fee, $100 Food Donation for the
County Jail and was ordered to pay $153 in restitution to the victim of the crime.
• Jair Macias, 21, of Amarillo pled guilty to the original charge of Driving While
Intoxicated 1st Offense. He was sentenced to 60 days in jail probated for one (1)
year, $500 fine, $435.10 court costs, $50 Crime Line Fee, $100 Food Donation
for the County Jail and was ordered by the court to take an Alcohol Awareness
Class at his own expense.
• Carlos Mireles III, 35, of Dimmitt pled guilty to two counts of Terroristic Threat
Family Member or Household. On the first count he was sentenced to 60 days in
jail, $500 fine and $267 court costs. On the second count he was sentenced to
60 days in jail, $500 fine and $217 court costs.

Judgments for September 10, 2015:
• Edward Ewing, 38, of Plainview pled guilty to the original charge of Prohibited
Substance in a Correctional Facility. He was sentenced to 4 years in the Texas
Department of Criminal Justice-Institutional Division, $2,000 fine, $334 court
costs, $500 Attorney Fees and $180 restitution to the Texas Department of
• Cuauthemoc Arevalo Valdez, 56, of Dimmitt true to violations of his probation on
the original charge of Possession of Controlled Substance PG 1 under 1 gram.
His probation was revoked and was sentenced to the Texas Department Criminal
Justice-State Jail, $1000 fine, $403 court costs and $180 restitution to the Texas
Department of Public Safety. He also pled guilty to the original charge of
Prohibited Substance in a Correctional Facility. He was sentenced to 3 years in
the Texas Department of Criminal Justice-Institutional Division, $1,000 fine, $344
court costs and $180 restitution to the Texas Department of Public Safety. He
also pled guilty to the original charge of Possession of Controlled Substance PG
1 under 1 gram. He was sentenced to 12 months in the Texas Department of
Criminal Justice-State Jail, $1,000 fine, $344 court costs $180 restitution to the
Texas Department of Public Safety.
