Three Sign Up For City Council

Three File For City Council Election

[ private] Three persons have signed up for the Hart City Council. Eliazar Castillo has signed up for mayor and incumbent Vickie Ethridge as a council member. Newcomer George Chapa has also signed up as a council member. Paul Ramirez did not seek  re-election; he is a candidate for the Democratic Primary for Pct. 1 County Commissioner.

Because three seats were up for election and three signed up, there will be no election and these three will be sworn in in May.  [/private]
