03/02- Abel Omar Montes, 38, of San Antonio was transported back from Menard County by the Sheriff’s Office on a Castro County warrant for Possession of Controlled Substance PG 1 over 1 gram-under 4 grams.
03/03- Gary Devestar Merritt, 54, of Lucedale, Mississippi was booked into jail to await transfer to the Texas Department of Criminal Justice-Institutional Division.
03/04- Raul Casas Jr., 26, of Dimmitt was transported back from Potter County by the Sheriff’s Office on a Castro County warrant for Possession of Controlled Substance PG 1 over 200 grams-under 400 grams.
03/04- Macario Herrera Ontiveros, 38, of Dimmitt was arrested by the Texas Highway Patrol for Evading Arrest or Detention, Fail to Identify-Fugitive From Justice and also on two Castro County warrants for Terroristic Threat Family Member-Failure to Appear and Driving While Intoxicated-Motion to Revoke Probation.
03/05- Jonathan Isaguirre, 28, of Hart was arrested by the Sheriff’s Office on a Castro County warrant for Assault/causes Bodily Injury/Family Violence-Motion to Revoke Probation.
03/05- Candice Lynn Dominguez, 35, of Amarillo was arrested by the Texas Highway Patrol for Possession of Marijuana under 2 ounces and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Judgments for March 2, 2016:
Joshua Gavin Ferrill, 21, of Odessa pled guilty to the original charge of Possession of Marijuana under 2 ounces. He was fined $1,000 and was assessed $332 court costs.
Jose Luis Aguilera Diaz, 35, of Hereford pled guilty to the original charge of Driving While Intoxicated. He was sentenced to 90 days in jail probated for one (1) year, $750 fine, $435 court costs, $50 Crime Line Fee and was ordered by the court to attend and complete an Alcohol Awareness Class at his own expense.

Judgments for March 3, 2016:
David Garcia, 54, of Kingsville pled true to violations of his probation on the original charge of Possession of Controlled Substance PG 1 under 1 gram. His probation was revoked and he was sentenced to serve 18 months in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice-State Jail Division.
Kimberly Ann Nieto, 39, of Lockney pled guilty to the original charge of Possession of Controlled Substance PG 1 under 1 gram. Her plea of guilt was set aside and was placed on 3 years of Deferred Adjudication Probation, $1500 fine, $403 court costs, $500 Attorney Fees, $180 restitution to the Texas Department of Public Safety Crime Lab, $50 Crime Line Fee and 240 hours of community service.
J’Shondriq Jamone Triana, 21, of Dimmitt pled guilty to the original charge of Prohibited Substance in a Correctional Facility. His plea of guilt was set aside and was placed on 5 years of Deferred Adjudication Probation, $2000 fine, $403 court costs, $500 Attorney Fees, $180 restitution to the Texas Department of Public Safety Crime Lab, $50 Crime Line Fee and 400 hours of community service.
Levi Lemont Valdez, 31, of Clovis, New Mexico pled guilty to the original charge of Interfere with Child Custody. His plea of guilt was set aside and was placed on 3 years of Deferred Adjudication Probation, $1500 fine, $343 court costs, $500 Attorney Fees, $50 Crime Line Fee and 240 hours of community service.
Michael Dominguez, 32, of Dimmitt pled guilty to the original charge of Possession of Controlled Substance PG 1 over 1 gram-under 4 grams. He was sentenced to six (6) years in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice-Institutional Division but his sentenced was probated for 4 years, $2000 fine, $403 court costs, $180 restitution to the Texas Department of Public Safety Crime Lab, $50 Crime Line Fee and 320 hours of community service. He also pled guilty to the original charge of Tampering with Physical Evidence. He was sentenced to six (6) years in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice-Institutional Division but his sentenced was probated for 4 years, $2000 fine and $343 court costs. Both sentences will run concurrent.

He was sentenced to four (4) years in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice-Institutional Division, $2000 fine, $403 court costs and $180 restitution to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

Rewards offered for the following Crimes:
The Castro County Crime Line is offering a $500 REWARD for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons involved in the theft of the diesel tank trailer west of Hart. A $250 REWARD is being offered for the recovery of the diesel tank trailer. The theft occurred sometime between Saturday, February 20, 2016 and Monday, February 22, 2016. Anyone with information can call the Castro County Sheriff’s Office at 806-647-3311 or the Castro County Crime Line at 806-647-4711. All callers may remain anonymous.
The Castro County Crime Line is offering a $500 REWARD for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons involved in a theft of a trailer which occurred sometime between Thursday, March 3, 2016 and Friday, March 4, 2016 southwest of Dimmitt. A $250 REWARD is being offered for the recovery of the trailer taken in the theft.
