| Bea ColeLongtime Hart resident Be a Cole, 97, of Hereford, Texas, died on Sunday, April 3, 2016, in Hereford. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 11, 2016, at Colonial Funeral Home Chapel in Dimmitt, with James Jones of Fourth & Bedford Church of Christ of Dimmitt, and David Miller of Houston as officiants. Interment will follow in Hart Cemetery under the direction of Colonial Funeral Home of Dimmitt. Family visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Sunday, April 10, 2016, at Colonial Funeral Home in Dimmitt.
Casket bearers were Ryan Ross, Kyle Baker, Zack Lujan, Craig Simpson, Danny Pevehouse, Michael Hermesmeyer, Max Watts, Cory Baker, Ronnie Cole, Chuck Dannheim, Jacob Rodriguez and Robert Hermesmeyer. Bea was born January 9, 1919, in Olton, Texas, to Green Henderson and Frankie Ann Slover Henderson. She married Everett Cole on November 3, 1945 in Plainview, Texas. Bea had been employed by Newsom Grocery in Hart for 13 years, Taylor & Sons Grocery in Dimmitt for 13 years, and by Hart School Cafeteria for five years. She was a member of the Good Neighbor Club, Hart Golden Group, Hospice and The Rose Garden. She was a member of Hart Church of Christ. Bea and Everett were Hart Days Pioneers in 1988. Her hobbies included gardening, making jams and jellies, baking, quilt-making, reading her Bible, and most of all, being with her family. Bea was preceded in death by her parents: her husband: two sons, Eugene Davis and Curtis Davis; daughter and son-in law: Frankie Ann and Nathan Pevehouse, son-in-law, Carl Baker; grandson, Brett Davis; great-grandson, Brett E. Davis; four brothers, Charlie Henderson, R. G. Henderson, Clifford Henderson and Frank Henderson; five sisters, Anna Lou Huff, Nola Jobe, Lola Stewart, Mary Bliss and Jane Schielock. Survivors are one son, Gary Cole and wife Kathy of Hereford; two daughters, Linda Baker of Greenwell Springs, Louisiana, and Carolyn Harman and husband Billy of Dimmitt; two daughters-In- law, Diane Davis of Aadairsville, Georgia, and Mary Davis of Conner, Montana; two sisters, Glee Williams of Canyon, Texas, and Joy Owens of Carlsbad, NM; 20 grandchildren; 39 great- grandchildren; 34 great-great grandchildren; and one great- great-great grandchild.
