Parade in 1978. The two were Honored Pioneers, having

moved to Hart in 1941. He was the first mayor of Hart,

and she had served as post mistress. Their son, the late

Robert Hawkins, and his wife, the late Leta Mae, were

honored posthumously during the Hart Days Parade in 2018.
