Longhorns Fall To Nazareth 55-22

In what was expected earlier in the season to finally be a win over Nazareth, the Longhorns fell to the Swifts 55-22 there last Friday. This was only the second game the Swifts won all season, also defeating Kress. Hart ended its season with a 5-5 record.

Zepeda said that the earlier injury to Eliseo Carrasco and losing quarterback Mark Trevizo, who was ejected in the Happy game and was removed from the squad, hurt the Longhorns’ chances of a district win in their last game of the season. And, Justin Garcia got his “bell rung” in the game with Nazareth, and wasn’t as effective after this.
