Bobby Finch

Bobby Ray Finch, 59, of Plainview, TX, died on Thursday, March 12, 2015, in Lubbock, TX. A funeral service was at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, March 17, 2015, at Lee Street Baptist Church in Dimmitt with Billy Finch as officiant. Burial was in Hart Cemetery in Hart, TX. Arrangements were by Colonial Funeral Home in Dimmitt.
Mr. Finch was born on July 5, 1955, in Dimmitt, along with twin brother Billy, to Robert and Patsy Ann (Ellis) Finch. He married Charlotte Gormany in Lubbock. He graduated in 1973 from Hart High School. Bobby worked in farming for several farmers in the Edmonson area, including with Jason Webb and Billy Bennett, He also was employed as a roofer in Lubbock. His hobbies included barbequing for family and friends, a mechanic, and family was important to him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Patsy Ann Finch; a sister, Joyce Powell; and three brothers, Taft Finch, Robert Finch, Jr. and Sammy Finch.

Survivors include his wife of Plainview; three daughters, LaTonya Dotson of Lubbock and Trinette Finch and Stacy Finch both of Dimmitt; two sisters, Brenda Yarbrough of Plainview and Sarah Frazier of Lubbock;
seven brothers, Willie Finch of Lubbock, Joseph Finch of Slaton, Billy Finch of Hart, Randy Finch of Lubbock, Steven Finch of Huntsville, Michael Finch of Lubbock and Bruce Finch of Lubbock; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
