Frank Ledesma

Francisco “Frank” Ledesma, 78, of Hart, passed away Sunday, April 23, 2017, in Olton. Memorial services were on Wednesday at 3 p.m. in the Colonial Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jesse Ramirez officiating. Arrangements were  handled by Colonial Funeral Home of Dimmitt.

Frank was a Castro County resident since 1963. He married Evangelina Flores in 1956. He was a farmer most of his life, but also worked as a welder and truck driver. He enjoyed wood-working, fishing, working in his yard and on his automobiles, conversing with those that would strike up a conversation with him. He was a great mathematician and  a very friendly gentleman. His greatest enjoyment was spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Evangelina of Hart, and his children, Luciano Ledesma of Minneola, Kansas,  Irene Gonzales of Clarksville, Arkansas, Anna Ledesma of Kingsley, Kansas,  Freddie Ledesma of Hart, Linda Reyna of Canyon, Diana Salido of Rifle, Colorado, Frank Ledesma, Jr. of Dimmitt, Daniel Ledesman of Dodge City, Kansas,  Victoria Ledesma of Killeen, Rebecca Ledesma of Hart, Rita Ledesma of Amarillo and Melissa Ledesma Padilla of Hart; four brothers, Luciano Gonzales of Houston, Jose Gonzales, Domingo Ledesma of Seguin and Matthew Ledesma of San Antonio; 46 grandchildren; and  several great- and great-great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, a daughter,  and a sister, Florencia Garza.
