LUBBOCK—Graveside services for Leslie (Gene) Richburg, 75, of Lubbock were at 3 p.m. Sunday, July 12, 2015, in the Terrace Cemetery in Post with Zach Smith, nephew, officiating. Mr. Richburg was Pat Smith’s brother.
He died Wednesday, July 8, 2015, in Lubbock. He was born on October 29, 1939, in Roscoe to John Lester and Ora Juanita (Mearse) Richburg. He married Aillene Murray on November 1, 1986, in Lubbock. She preceded him in death on March 29, 2007. He drove a truck for many years prior to his retirement.
Other survivors are a son, Todd and wife, Teresa Richburg of Lubbock; a daughter, Tana Eppers and husband, Leslie Gray of Lubbock; a stepson, Bobby Peel of Abilene; a stepdaughter, Nancy Sanders of Lubbock; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
