Hart Days 2018 Schedule

Hart Days Set To Kick Off With Pageants

[ private] Hart Days 2018 is set to get underway with the Little Miss Pageant (kindergarten through second grade for upcoming school year) on Thursday, July 26, beginning at 8 p.m. at Centennial Pavilion in downtown Hart. Afterwards, there will be the Young Miss Hart pageant for those girls who will be in third through fifth grade. The Junior Miss pageant is for girls who will be in the sixth through eighth grade. Ramona Neudorf is pageant coordinator.  Mark Castillo will be  narrator.

On Friday, some food vendors will be open. They will be  set up south of the fire station. Mud Volleyball will get underway at 7 p.m. that day, and at 5 p.m. on Saturday. The site is also south of fire station, across Railroad Avenue. Entry fee is $100 per team. For information, contact George Chapa II (938-2183)  or Paul Ramirez at 647-6552.

On Saturday, the Parade lineup begins at 9 a.m. on Second Street between the elementary and secondary school campuses. Contact Stanley Dyer (647-7144) or Ramona Neudorf (240-0409) for information. The parade begins at 10 a.m. Parade Marshals are Federico and Angelita Morales, Sr.,  and the children of the late Robert and Leta Mae Hawkins will be in the parade to help Hart honor their parents posthumously.

Coach Ruby Romero and her female athletes will sponsor the Horseshoe Tournament, set to begin at 2 p.m. on the north side of the fire station. For more information, contact Romero at 647-8008.

The cheerleaders, under the direction of Gloria Godino, will be manning inflatables from 12 noon until 6 p.m. and the cost is $10 for a bracelet for unlimited visits. And, there will be a Dunkin’  Booth.

Krista Lara, elementary principal, will be selling t-shirts and raffles for the Snack Pack 4 Kids. [/private]
