Persons Arrested & Booked into Jail

December 8 to 14, 2015

All information of persons arrested and booked into the Castro County Jail are open records:

12/09- Joseph Eric Tannehill, 29, of Dimmitt was arrested by the Dimmitt Police on a Castro County warrant for Theft over $100-under $750-Failure to Appear.

12/10- Ronnie Garcia, 33, of Dimmitt was arrested by the Sheriff’s Office on a Castro County warrant for Possession of Marijuana under 2 ounces-Failure to Appear.

12/11- Serena Sifuentez, 28, of Dimmitt was arrested by the Dimmitt Police for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

12/11- Drake Reyes, 20, of Dimmitt was arrested by the Dimmitt Police for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

12/11- Jose Ramirez, 27, of Dimmitt was arrested by the Dimmitt Police for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

12/11- Oscar Juarez, 30, of Dimmitt was arrested by the Dimmitt Police for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Prohibited Substance in a Correctional Facility.

12/12- Christopher Allen Bachicha, 28, of Bovina was arrested by the Sheriff’s Office for Driving While Intoxicated 1st Offense with Open Container.

12/13- Christian Regalado, 24, of Clovis, New Mexico, was arrested by the Dimmitt Police for Driving While Intoxicated and Unlawful Carrying a Weapon.

Judgments for December 8, 2015:

Jessie Rodriguez, 52, of Dimmitt pled guilty to the charges of Assault/causes Bodily Injury and Evading Arrest or Detention.  He was sentenced on the assault case to 120 days in jail, $750 fine and $267 court costs.  He was sentenced on the evading case to 120 days in jail, $500 and $217 court costs.  He was also charged attorney fees on both cases totaling $500.

Herman Henry Luna, 41, of Dimmitt pled true to violations of his probation on the original charge of Fail to Identify-Fugitive From Justice.  His probation was revoked and was ordered to serve his original sentence.

Judgments for December 9, 2015:

Enrique Flores, 45, of Lubbock pled guilty to the charge of Prohibited Weapon-Knuckles.  He sentenced to a $750 fine and $232 court costs.

Ernesto Aguero III, 35, of Dimmitt pled guilty to the original charge of Purchase/Furnish Alcohol to a Minor.  He was sentenced to 90 days in jail probated for one (1) year, $750 fine, $257 court costs, $50 Crime Line Fee and a $100 Food Donation to the County Jail.

Victoria Leal, 20, of Dimmitt pled guilty to the original charge of Assault causes Bodily Injury Family Violence.  She was sentenced to 90 days in jail probated for one (1) year, $500 fine, $257 court costs, $50 Crime Line Fee and $100 Food Donation to the County Jail.

Judgments for December 10, 2015:

Mark Lumbrera, 37, of Dimmitt pled guilty to the original charge of Burglary of a Coin-Operated Machine.  He was sentenced to 90 days in jail probated for one (1) year, $750 fine, $307 court costs, $50 Crime Line Fee, 75 hours community service, $250 Attorney Fees and was ordered by the court to pay $40 in restitution to the victim of the crime.

Judgments for December 10, 2015:

David Reyes Jr., 37, of Dimmitt had a hearing of his probation on the original charge of Possession of Controlled Substance PG 1 under 1 gram.  His probation was reinstated and was extended for one (1) year of the original sentence of five (5) years.  He was also ordered and committed to the Texas Department of Criminal Justice-Substance Abuse Facility Program.
